cpl-plugin-amber software package provides ESO data reduction pipeline for AMBER, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cpl-plugin-amber
cpl-plugin-amber is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cpl-plugin-amber package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cpl-plugin-amber *
You will get with cpl-plugin-amber package name, version, architecture and description in a table
